7-day trials on all saddles
1. Timeline: The 7 day trial begins the day the saddle is delivered. Signature is required for delivery. Please make sure you select a shipping address where someone will be available to sign. If delivery is attempted and no one is there to sign for the package, your trial will begin the following business day. It is your responsibility to pick up the package after that. Before or upon completion of the 7-day trial, the customer must notify Bonjour Tack if the saddle is to be kept or returned. On the eighth day, saddle becomes property of the customer and no returns for any reason will be accepted if we have not been notified. There are no exceptions made, unless made prior or during the trial in writing (email or message). You may use any shipping carrier for returns (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL) as long as the shipping time is no longer than 3 days. It is recommended that full insurance is purchased with return shipments (you are responsible for the condition the saddle arrives in when returned). Please email tracking number as soon as you ship. We can arrange return shipping for you, if requested.
2. Condition: The trial period serves as your opportunity to inspect and test ride the saddle. You are welcome to have your trainer and/or saddler/saddle fiftter inspect the saddle. Preowned saddles are not guaranteed to be free of wear or damage. We only sell pre-owned saddles, and therefore cannot offer a guarantee on items. NO refunds will be offered as a result of any saddler or trainer inspections made after the trial period has ended. We are not responsible for any suitability or condition issues brought to our attention after the trial period ends. Saddles are sold as is. We do our best to describe saddles accurately including blemishes and measurements. Bonjour Tack is not to be held liable for an injury caused by a defective or faulty saddle. There are no returns accepted after the 7 day trial has come to an end (unless the trial has been extended in writing). If the saddle is returned dirty or needing any conditioning etc. there will be a $50 charge. Any saddle returned with excessive wear on the flaps, scratches in the leather, nicks or significant marks to any part of the saddle will automatically result in a minimum of 10% of the saddles value being retained. If the saddle is returned extremely damaged, so that it will significantly affect the subsequent sale of the saddle, the full purchase price will be charged and the saddle will become the property of the customer.
3. Fees: If the customer decides to return the saddle, a full refund will be issued minus the 3% for payment processing and a $95 restocking fee for all saddles shipped and returned from 7-day trials. If the saddle does not arrive back within 3 business days from the end of your trial period (end of the seventh day), there will be an additional $150 deduction from your refund - unless shipment is delayed due to transporter. However, no restocking fee will be charged if you end up purchasing a saddle from us, no matter how many saddles you try. If a saddle is returned, the restocking fee will be taken out of the refund, but it will be used as a credit towards the next saddle purchase. For saddles with discount (special deal/sale), a trial is possible but the refund will be as a store credit.
